Getting started is easy—no matter your training path. Whether you're a part-time or full-time learner, joining individually or as part of a group, we’ve created a complete step-by-step guide to walk you through everything from registration to scheduling your first session. Whether you're learning French or English, this page has all the tools you need to start with confidence.
How to register
Fill Out Your Registration Form
The first step is to complete the registration form sent to you by our onboarding team. Check your inbox (or spam folder) for the link, which will give you access to our learning portal. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be able to fill out and submit the form directly through the platform.
Book Your Preliminary Evaluation
Next, it’s time to book your Preliminary Evaluation. You can either share your availability with our onboarding team or use our self-booking calendar to schedule this 30-minute evaluation. Read more about the evaluation here.
Complete Your Evaluation and Await the Results
After completing your evaluation, our team will send you your results the same day, including a detailed report with personalized feedback from your evaluator to guide your language training journey.
Provide Your Availability
Once you’ve received your evaluation results, send your availability to our onboarding team so we can match you with a tutor. Our tutors are generally available between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. (Please note: tutor assignments may take 5–10 business days depending on demand.)
Get Matched With a Tutor
Based on your availability, we’ll assign you a qualified bilingual tutor. You’ll then receive a welcome email with all the key details about your training schedule, tutoring sessions, and next steps to get started.

Once your evaluation is complete, one of our agents will contact you directly to inquire about your working hours and time zones. This step helps us coordinate with other group members and assign a tutor based on everyone’s schedules and tutor availability. Please note that forming a group and assigning a tutor may take 5–10 business days, depending on demand and availability.

Once we’ve confirmed the group’s availability, we’ll assign a qualified bilingual tutor to lead your sessions. You’ll then receive a welcome email with all the key details about your training schedule, group tutoring format, and the next steps to get started.

Complete Your Diagnostic Placement Test
Once inside the portal, complete your diagnostic placement test to determine your current level. Your placement result will be available instantly. You’ll gain access to the module you’ve placed in, as well as all lower-level modules to review and reinforce your skills.

Find Your Perfect TutorFAQs
Log in to your LRDG Portal, then select “Book Your Evaluation” from your calendar. Enter the telephone number that will be used for the evaluation, choose your preferred date and time, and select an evaluator from the drop-down menu. Once confirmed, a confirmation email will be sent to both you and your evaluator.
No. To sign up with LRDG, the Preliminary Evaluation is required. This short 20–30 minute phone evaluation helps us assess your current level. Your evaluator will contact you using the information provided during registration.
LRDG uses a blended learning approach, combining computer-based software with live tutoring sessions to deliver flexible, fast, and effective language training. Our method offers the best of both worlds:

Enter your username and password, then select Log In.
Your LRDG username is typically the work email address you used to register with us.
While you cannot directly choose your tutor, your Account Manager or Pedagogical Advisor will assign one based on your schedule and preferences after your Preliminary Evaluation. Please note that the tutor assignment process may take a minimum of five business days.
